
Zack Cozart’s eighth-inning RBI single was the biggest hit for the Louisville Bats on Thursday night as they held off the visiting Durham Bulls 2-0 in the opener of their four-game series.

Chad Reineke (3-5) was the winning pitcher while Jon Adkins picked up his franchise-record 40th save for Louisville.
Heath Phillips (6-5) took the loss despite allowing one run on four hits with five strikeouts and no walks in seven innings.
Chris Burke led Louisville with two hits including a double, while Justin Ruggiano had two hits and Chris Richard a double for Durham.
