Shanise Blanks scored 15 points, leading three N.C. Central players in double figures as the Eagles nipped Presbyterian 57-56 in women’s basketball.

Blanks (pictured) hit five 3-pointers to lead NCCU (8-15), which played without leading scorer Joanna Miller. Latoya Bennett added 13 points with seven rebounds and Danielle DeBerry 12 with eight assists for NCCU.

Kristen Stevens led the Blue Hose (5-19) with 16 points, followed by Shonda Burnside with 12 and Lea Smith with 10.

The Eagles return home on Saturday at 3 p.m. for their “PinkZone” game against Chicago State.
