Duke kicker Will Snyderwine has been named to the first team of the American Football Coaches Association All-America squad.

With the selection Snyderwine became the first Blue Devil in 21 years and 17th overall to be named a first-team All-American.

The redshirt junior from Potomac, Md., hit all 32 of his PAT attempts and 21 of 24 field-goal tries this season. He ranked sixth in field goals per game with 1.75. For his career he has hit 38 of 44 field-goal attempts and all 56 of his extra points.

Snyderwine is one of four ACC players on the team, joined by Florida State offensive lineman Rodney Hudson, Clemson defensive lineman Da’Quan Bowers and Boston College linebacker Luke Kuechly.
