
Duke kept its perfect women’s basketball record alive Sunday, building up a big lead and then holding off host Virginia Tech 57-43.

Allison Vernerey led with way with a season-high 15 points as the No. 3 Blue Devils improved to 17-0, 3-0 in ACC play.
Freshman Tricia Liston added 13 points and Jasmine Thomas 12 for the Blue Devils, who got a season-high six assists from Karima Chistmas.
Shanel Harrison led the Hokies (9-9, 0-4) with 10 points.
