Veteran Durham Bulls infielder Elliot Johnson knocked in Syracuse’s Chase Lambin with an RBI double in the sixth inning, giving the International League a 2-1 victory over the Pacific Coast League in the Triple-A All-Star Game on Wednesday night at Lehigh Valley.

The win gave the IL, which has won six of the last eight meetings, a seven games to six lead in the series.

Bulls manager Charlie Montoyo was the skipper for the IL stars, while Durham’s Dan Johnson was the designated hitter.

The Bulls return home tonight at 7:05 to take on the Charlotte Knights in the opener of a four-game, two-city series.
