No. 10 UNC will try to shake off Monday night’s loss to Connecticut in women’s basketball action tonight, while N.C. State will perhaps try to build on some momentum from its respectable performance against the Tar Heels six days ago.

The Tar Heels’ assignment looks much less challenging, as Sylvia Hatchell’s club will host Wake Forest at Carmichael Arena. State, meanwhile, will be vastly outsized in the paint as the Wolfpack travels to Boston College.
UNC leads the all-time series with the Deacons 56-12, including a 27-3 mark in Chapel Hill.
State will be an underdog, although the Wolfpack has won the last two meetings in the series with BC including a 63-57 upset in the semifinals of last season’s ACC Tournament. The Wolfpack has come up short on its last three trips to the Eagles’ court.
