N.C. Central will face an opponent in similar shoes in women’s basketball today.
The Eagles (7-15) will be in Clinton, S.C., for a 5 p.m. game against Presbyterian, which is also in the third of the five-year transition from Division II to Division I.
It’s “Pack the House” night for the Blue Hose, with a men’s game against UNC Asheville at 7:30.
The Blue Hose are already playing a Big South regular-season schedule, but since like NCCU they will not be eligible for NCAA Tournament play until 2011-12 they will not play in that conference tournament.
Joanna Miller (pictured) is the leading scorer for NCCU.
