Justin Ruggiano (pictured) had a two-run double in the 10th inning, giving the Durham Bulls a 3-1 road victory over the Gwinnett Braves and a sweep of their three-game series.

The Bulls, who have won four straight games, have finished a 5-2 road trip heading into their home opener with the Norfolk Tides on Thursday at 7:05.

Durham finished with a season-high 10 hits, two each from Ruggiano and Angel Chavez, to get the victory for Joe Bateman (1-0) and deal Cristhian Martinez (0-1) the loss. Winston Abreu earned the save.

Chris Richard had broken up the shutout for the Bulls with an RBI double in the seventh inning.
But the Braves tied the score on Joe Thurston’s leadoff homer in the eighth.
