The Duke Blue Devils improved, as expected, to 14—0 Wednesday night during a break from ACC play against the Blazers of the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Early domination from the Devils put the Blazers in a 22-point hole just minutes into the game. Though their three-point shooting and tenacity matched Duke throughout much of the contest, that deficit was just too great. Duke won by 21 points.
“We’re playing well,” Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski said after the game. “We’re getting better.”
