Boston College’s balanced scoring was just too much for N.C. State on Thursday night.

Carolyn Swords had 15 points and 19 rebounds, leading five Eagles in double figures as they held off the Wolfpack 77-67.

Stefanie Murphy added 14 points for BC (15-4, 2-2 ACC), which got 13 points from Kerri Shields, 12 from Kristen Doherty and 10 from Shayra Brown.

Marissa Kastanek led the Wolfpack (9-9, 1-3) with 21 points, followed by Amber White with 18 and Bonae Holston 10.

State’s next game is on Sunday at home against No. 3 Duke.
