Jessica Breland led the way with 19 points, followed by Italee Lucas with 15 and Tierra Ruffin-Pratt 14 as the Tar Heels demolished Hawaii 91-57 for the championship of the Rainbow Wahine Showdown.

The 7-0 Tar Heels, who have won so far by an average of 44.6 points, also destroyed Washington State and Illinois in Honolulu.

Shawna-Lei Kuehu led the Rainbow Wahine (4-2) with 16 points.

Lucas was named the tournament’s MVP, while Breland was also on the all-tourney squad.
