It’s the middle game of a women’s basketball tripleheader at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, as Butler faces Coastal Carolina at 1 p.m. and Francis Marion takes on Virginia Intermont at 5.

UNC, which is 22-4 in games played in Myrtle Beach, is 8-6 all-time against the Gamecocks.

The Tar Heels have been idle since their 78-66 win over visiting UNLV on Dec. 12.

Dawn Staley’s club is looking for a sweep of North Carolina’s public universities in the ACC, having beaten N.C. State 77-63 in Columbia on Dec. 12.

After Sunday’s contest, the Tar Heels won’t play again until a Dec. 28 home game against the College of Charleston.
