The ACC has honored three more Triangle women’s basketball players, as Duke’s Jasmine Thomas and UNC’s Waltiea Rolle have been named to the conference’s all-defensive team and Duke’s Chelsea Gray to the all-freshman team.

It was the second conference honor in as many days for both of the Duke players, as Thomas was also first-team all-conference while Gray received honorable mention on that squad.

Florida State’s Christian Hunnicutt was named ACC defensive player of the year, while Maryland’s Alyssa Thomas was named freshman of the year.

The all-defensive team is selected by the league’s coaches, while the all-rookie team is chosen by the league’s “blue ribbon panel.”
