Groundhog Day is signing day for NCAA football, and the three area ACC entries today announced a total of 65 signees including four from the Triangle.
UNC coach Butch Davis announced the signings of 25 players, including wide receiver T.J. Thorpe from Durham Jordan and Fuquay-Varina defensive tackle Shawn Underwood.
N.C. State’s Tom O’Brien announced 20 signees, including “athlete” Juston Burris of Raleigh Broughton and linebacker Brandon Pittman of Leesville Road.
Duke’s David Cutcliffe announced the signings of 20 players including five North Carolinians.
