Kellie Harper’s scrappy Wolfpack club (10-12, 1-6 ACC), which topped Fairfield 76-45 on Tuesday night to break a five-game losing streak, will visit No. 12 Maryland (19-3, 5-2) today at noon in a televised Super Bowl Sunday matchup (FSN South) at Comcast Center.
State had one of its best games of last season in its only meeting with the Terps, walloping Brenda Frese’s team 73-45 in Raleigh.
Maryland has won six straight games.
Following today’s contest, the Wolfpack’s next game will be at home on Thursday night against Virginia.
