Eagles host old nemesis Shaw tonight

N.C. Central will step away from Division I competition to take on an old foe in women’s basketball tonight.

Shaw (10-1), which had been the Eagles’ worst nemesis in the CIAA for the first half of the last decade, will visit McDougald-McLendon-Gym for a non-conference battle and the teams’ first meeting in three years.

Shaw is on a nine-game winning streak, while NCCU has won four of its last four of its last six games.

Both NCCU coach Joli Robinson and Shaw coach Jacques Curtis won their 200^th career victories earlier this season.
