N.C. Central kept it respectable again, but the Eagles ended up on the wrong end of a 79-66 loss to James Madison in their final game of the 2KSports Classic Benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer in Miami.

Darren White had 20 points for the 2-2 Dukes, leading four JMU players in double figures.

C.J. Wilkerson (pictured) led NCCU (1-5) with 21 points including 11-for-12 from the free-throw line, while Nick Chasten added 12.

Pierre Curtis added 16 points for JMU, which led 45-29 at halftime. Dazzmond Thornton added 14 points and Julius Wells 13.

The Eagles’ next game is on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Iowa.
