The second half of N.C. Central’s women’s basketball road trip to Maryland didn’t go much better than the first.

Georgien Williams had a game-high 21points, leading Morgan State to a 75-38 romp over the Eagles at Hill Field House.

Corin Adams added 14 points and Erin Hawkins 12 for the Bears (1-1), who led 34-19 at halftime.

Latoya Bennett (pictured) and Brittany Myers had 10 points each for NCCU (0-2).

The Bears hit seven 3-pointers to just two for NCCU.

The Eagles will look for their first win of the season on Wednesday, when they host Campbell at 5:30 p.m. at McLendon-McDougald Gym. The women’s contest precedes a men’s game between the Eagles an N.C. Wesleyan.
