Fernando Perez has another piece of writing in the New York Times, this one about how it’s too early in the season to assess teams or players. Fernando’s team, the Rays, will be relieved to hear that: The Bulls’ parent club is just 6-10, in last place in the American League East Division.

The Bulls, meanwhile, are 10-4 after dropping a 4-3 decision at Norfolk last night. They managed only six hits last night, just one for extra bases, adding another game to their season-opening hitting slump (see Ryan Campbell’s post for details). Perhaps the Bulls’ position players ought to have a look at Perez’s piece, too, for morale-boosting.
