Duke senior guard Jasmine Thomas has won the Kay Yow scholar athlete of the year award for the second straight season, leading a group of five Blue Devils on the ACC’s All-Academic team in women’s basketball.

Teammates joining Thomas on the 18-member squad are junior forward Kathleen Scheer and junior guard Shay Selby, sophomore center Allison Vernerey and freshman forward Haley Peters.

N.C. State placed senior wing Brittany Strachan, sophomore guard Marissa Kastanek and freshman forward Kody Burke on the squad, while UNC placed junior forward Laura Broomfield.
