Barbara — 9 (two opportunities brilliantly exploited; impressive technical ability; held up well with effective and creative distribution of ball; clearly a top-notch striker for this level)
Gardner — 7 (effective all over the pitch; excellent work rate; created opportunities; had a goal disallowed)
Paladini — 5 (seemed to struggle in a less central role; weak spot kicks and shots)
Kabwe — 6 (had a couple of strong runs at goal; took heavy touches, made heavy passes)
Elenio — 7 (perfect cross to Etienne for second goal; skillful and crafty; seemed to tire in second half)
Lowery — 6 (more adventurous than last year; lost more 50/50 balls than usual)
Shields — 7 (His return brought much-needed stability to right back after unsteady preseason at that position.)
Schulte — 7 (Captain clean sheet)
Bobo — 6 (Was it his man who got the header in the 28th minute? [Ed. 4/12: Just looked at the video. Lowery and Gilkerson were the closest to the unmarked John Lesko.])
Gilkerson — 8 (Probably his most impressive game as a RailHawk; his run from the back set up the second goal; ventured forward played a wonderful long ball from the back to Barbara and; was somewhat better at taking care of the ball.)
Reed — 8 (Other than the 28th minute header, not severely threatened. But came off his line with authority to claim a couple of crosses)
