Tar Heels beat NCCU in women's play 97-40

Good evening, sports fans.

Since I'm working on a part-time contract basis for NCCU sports information, it would have been an obvious conflict of interest for me to cover the Eagles' women's basketball game at No. 8 UNC tonight.

The Tar Heels won 97-40.

UNC will be on the road for its next two, but I plan to be in Chapel Hill for the big game with N.C. State on Jan. 14.
