As poet laureate of North Carolina, Jaki has traveled the length and breadth of the state, documenting in her work the people that she has met and the places she has visited. As a tireless advocate of unlocking people’s stories via literary expression, she has lead workshops across the state and continues to work tirelessly to highlight and celebrate voices from all walks of life. Join us for an evening of poetry, conversation, and audience Q&A in our Performing Arts Center.
