PRESS RELEASE:
Leaving Impossible Things Unattended/LITU: Permanent Futures is a one-night only, 8-hour immersive, durational performance installation from collaborators Ginger Wagg (Wild Actions) and Mike Dimpfl (DJ Mike D). This event marks LITU's 2-year anniversary and a culmination of a multi-performance, site-responsive work focusing on the trash and waste we are always trying to -- but can never quite -- leave behind.
Nightlight Bar & Club will be stuffed with refuse, filled with the live sound eco-system of MARV (Carrboro) and the live lighting design of Patience (devised theater maker, Chapel Hill).
Viewers are encouraged to walk through the performance space multiple times over the course of the evening as the performers transform and are transformed by their surroundings.
