It is inconceivable to me that an article about vegetarian cookbooks ("Cooking vegetarian at home: Not (just) your mother's Moosewood," by Sheryl Cornett, Dish, Feb. 6) could be published that makes no mention of Isa Chandra Moskowitz and her veritable vegan cookbook empire. Not that I object to Laurel's Kitchen or the Moosewood cookbooks (versions of both grace my shelves), but where were Veganomicon, Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World and Vegan with a Vengeance?
To not make these essential vegan cooking manuals known to your readers is a huge mistake. They are by far the best vegetarian/vegan cookbooks I've encountered.
