If you’re new to bluegrass-fusion-jazz, don’t worry; Bela Fleck & the Flecktones are coming to Cary to make you an instant fan. Bela Fleck, banjo; Jeff Coffin, saxophone/flute; Victor Wooten, bass and Future Man on drums will groove you to new levels of giddiness with their Grammy Award winning tunes. Any fan of jazz and bluegrass should plan to make it out to this one. Their Acoustic Planet Tour started on Aug. 5 and has packed ’em in each and every time. Alternative guitarist Keller Williams and Yonder Mountain String Band are also on the evening’s bill.
Bela Fleck & The Flecktones play the Amphitheatre at Regency Park Friday, Sept. 3. Tickets are $34.50 for reserved table seating and $34.50 for general admission lawn seating. Doors open at 6 p.m., show starts at 7.
