Instead of the usual group of high-priced mouthpieces, 10 citizens from all walks of life are called before Congress to testify about their experiences with the American health care system. Obviously we’re in the realm of speculative fiction, but in Sarah Jones‘ one-woman show A Right to Care, this group explores the impact of race, economics and ethnic bias on the structure that’s supposed to keep us all healthy. Those who caught Jones’ electrifying performance at Duke this spring are already making reservations as we speak. This time she’s at UNC’s Sonja Stone Center Theater Thursday, Oct. 13 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20, $10 for students, and worth every penny. Call 962-1449.
