Scottish fiddler Alasdair Fraser is one of the finest fiddlers to emerge from the misty lands, playing with everyone from The Chieftains to Itzhak Perlman. He should find the Old North State, where there are more folks of Scottish descent than back home, welcome territory for his show featuring Fraser’s take on traditional Scottish fiddling and dance.

Alasdair Fraser and Rhythms of Scotland play Duke’s Page Auditorium Friday, March 11. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20, $25 for reserved seating. Call 684-4444 or go to www.tickets.duke.edu for tickets.
