This Sunday, the Durham Civic Center will play host to Edible Arts 2001, an event where 25 restaurants, microbreweries and coffee providers set up tables so you can “graze” across an indoor field of fine food and drink. The $40 ticket price, a portion of which goes to the Durham Arts Council’s educational programs, gets you access to a smorgasbord featuring treats from area restaurants including Nana’s, Parizade, Bombay Grille and George’s Garage, and beverage vendors such as Carolina Brewing Company, Durham Coca-Cola and Red Oak Beer. The event takes place June 3, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Bring a bib! Call 560-2787 for details.
