Can listening to music reduce our dependence on foreign oil? Come again? This Saturday’s concert at the Carrboro ArtsCenter will benefit the Human Kindness Foundation’s efforts to build the first biodiesel plant in North Carolina. Local singer/songwriter Bo Lozoff will perform with a band of buddies (Lise Uyanik, Armand Lenchek, Zan McLeod, Chris Turner and Ben Palmer), with a dance party afterwards to celebrate the release of his new CD Whatever it Takes. Proceeds go toward the plant, which will double as a job-training program for former prisoners. $12, $10 for ArtsCenter Friends. For more info, check out .
