
Under the direction of Paul Jeffrey, on Friday, Feb. 28, the Duke Jazz Ensemble will be performing with The Italian All-Stars in yet another installment of the 20th annual International Jazz Festival. Through a series of concerts, the festival promotes the collaboration of leading world jazz figures with students in the Duke Jazz Ensemble. The All-Stars are Tullio Ricci and Maurizio Carugno (pictured below), both on the tenor sax; Sandra Gibellini on the guitar; Roberto Piccolo on the bass, and Massimo Pintore on the drums.
