Gosh, is it almost Lent already? Well, unless you’re from Milan, where things are a week behind for some reason, then Tuesday is Mardi Gras and time to get out the beads for a last fling with carnival. In addition to dusting off your old Fess and Wild Magnolias records, there are at least two stops to make in the Triangle: Montas Lounge in Durham at 7 p.m. for a Lousiana-themed food and dance party, and Hillsborough’s Blue Bayou Club, where harpist and chef Mel Melton will be serving up his swamp pop, blues and fixins’.
