There’s some funny business going on with a recent U.S. Army partnership. “Ha-ha” funny, as opposed to “hmmm, that’s curious … ,” funny. The armed forces branch has teamed up with entertainment network company Zilo Networks to bring laughter to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU’s). Dubbed the Off the Hook Comedy Tour, the event is a younger, hipper version of “The Kings of Comedy”–call it, “The Princes of Comedy” if you like. Featured comedians are Todd Lynn, of Damon Wayans’ “My Wife and Kids,” show and Shang (pictured left), co-star of “The Jamie Foxx Show” and “Parent Hood.” Stay tuned also for the Off the Hook DVD, to be released later this fall.
