Goes Cube
Slim’sIt wasn’t long ago that Goes Cubea heavy-as-it-gets trio from Brooklynsmelled up its tour van as an unknown, labelless could-be band with numbers for song titles. Nowadays, the songs have names, and the band is fueling the van with strong publicity behind last year’s meaty Another Day Has Passed. The laurels shouldn’t be surprising: The trio’s heavy jams are meat-and-potatoes enough to evoke hardcore, sinewy enough to add a “post-” prefix, anthemic enough to inspire modern rock fans and thick enough in the low end to bang some heads.
