CHAPEL HILL
BANDELIRIUM
THE CAVE–Now that I’ve been a contestant on Bandelirium, the music trivia show taped at the Cave, I can officially say it’s a gas. I, on the other hand, bite. (David Byrne was born in South Africa?! Man, what a choke.) From our host Crispy and the statuesque scorekeeper to the Dr. Seuss buzzers and the fly swatters used for final-round wagering, everything is cable-access perfect. The show’s taped live two Mondays a month at 8 p.m. in front of an, ideally, enthusiastic audience. But don’t check your local listings; check the Cave’s Web site: www.caverntavern.com. —Rick Cornell
