KARL ROVE
DUKE CAMPUSHere he comes, the left’s favorite bogeyman: Former Bush brain Karl Rove speaks at Page Auditorium from 6-7 p.m. tonight in an event moderated by Duke political scientist and former White House strategist Peter Feaver (see Q&A on page 9). It was recently disclosed that Rove’s fellow Texan and longtime Bushie Alberto Gonzales is making 40 G’s per speech. We’re told that Duke is paying Rove, but the amount is confidential. The event is free, but for a $3 fee, tickets may be reserved online: cam06.auxserv.duke.edu/peo/default.asp. David Fellerath
