THE POUR HOUSEBrooklyn’s The Superpowers hope to unite people through dance. That altruistic concept is easy to hear in their polyrhythmic debut, Revival Time, where beats shimmy, shake and undulate beneath a fusion of jazz, funk rhythms and percussion. They used to call themselves Boston Afrobeat Society: Just check the slow-burn jungle-beats and swelling horns of Revival Time (especially its title track), and you’ll hear why. The beat drops at 9 p.m., and entry is free. Kathy Justice
