The Countdown Quartet has the horns and rhythm it takes to get a crowd moving. On Friday, May 28 they’re taking their kind of swing to the front porch of the Bynum General Store. Hot sounds, cool nights (let’s hope) and the magnificent ambience of Bynum Ridge on a summer night: truly country living at its finest. The show starts at 7 p.m. The store is at 950 Bynum Road–about 10 miles south of Chapel Hill. Suggested donations run in the $3 to $7 range along with whatever you might want to buy while you’re in the Bynum central business district.
