Raleigh
Alan Jackson

Walnut Creek AmphitheatreDon’t let Alan Jackson’s holey, torn-up jeans fool you: The economy hasn’t dampened the neotraditionalist’s ability to have a Good Time, which is also the name of his latest album to reach the top of the country charts. The self-professed singer of simple songs returns to Raleigh to carry on the drinking, loving and leaving traditions of his country heroes, but don’t expect too much fanfare. There will just be Jackson, his guitar and as many of his 50-some radio hits the crooner can cram into his set. The baritone-voiced Josh Turner rounds out the traditional country bill. Tickets are $15-$59 for the 7:30 p.m. concert. Karlie Justus
