HOW I GOT THAT STORY
DEEP DISH THEATERHow I Got That Story is Amlin Gray’s nightmare comedya satirical tale of a reporter (Kit FitzSimons) and his “Historical Event” (Derrick Ivey)aa amalgam of the characters FitzSimons meets on his journey. Deep Dish artistic director Paul Frellick says, “The theatrical conceit of having a single actor embody every aspect of the reporter’s experience manages to place a culture of war squarely on stage.” This is the first weekend in a four-week run, but Deep Dish is a small space that frequently sells out its shows.
