CHAPEL HILL
BU HANAN RECORDS
Local 506Last week’s cover story on Bu Hanan Records asserted that the collective of five Chapel Hill songwriters is successful because of its inter-member criticism and high standard of honesty. Those ideals should be on full display tonight, when all four Bu Hanan bandsDavid Karsten Daniels, The Prayers and Tears of Arthur Digby Sellers, The Physics of Meaning and Kapow Music!gather to celebrate the release of Sharp Teeth, the second album from Daniels and the first to be issued by a major independent label (England’s Fat Cat Records). It’s an album that mines the reaches and lows of high drama, Daniels lashing his feelings over some of the best micro-budget arrangements in memory. This free show begins at 10 p.m. Grayson Currin
