The Bleeding Hearts, The BQs, The Needles
Slim’sCramming a week’s recommended allowance of rock into one evening, this triple bill features some fabulous good-time merchants and erstwhile beer salesmen. The Bleeding Hearts revive the catchy, bar-chord barroom bluster of Thin Lizzy and Cheap Trick with a cache of songs that insist on head-bobbing assent. The BQs feature Brian Quast (The Cherry Valence, Urge Overkill) and bassist Ash Bowie (Polvo, Helium) producing a lithe, chewy indie rock rumble. Wilmington’s The Needles ooze attitude from Southern-fried garage-punk pores. Drink up at 10 p.m. for $3. Chris Parker
