REBUS WORKSPatrick FitzGerald’s series People I Think I Know, the music of Benjamin Dauer and more than 10 years of work in animation and new media from NCSU’s College of Design students will be featured tonight. After sunset, films will be projected outside of Rebus Works. FitzGerald, the gallery tells us, “challenges and examines issues of uniqueness and duplication,” while Dauer is a composer and performer whose work has been used at American Dance Festival. STATE FAIRGROUNDSThe 14th annual Fiesta del Pueblo brings music, dance, food and crafts from all over Latin America to the Triangle today and Sunday. Sponsored by the nonprofit advocacy group El Pueblo, this year’s fest features local musicians Rey Norteño, Orquesta Gardel, Mariachi 2000, Mickey Mills Steel Band, Braco and Brazilian Soul along with headlining dance bands from Atlanta and D.C.
