The N.C. Symphony and the N.C. Master Chorale join instruments and voices to perform seasonal favorites in a four-show weekend stand under the direction of resident symphony conductor William Henry Curry and Alfred E. Sturgis, the director of the 170-voice chorus since 1993. Sunday’s 3 p.m. performance is sold out, though tickets remain for Friday (8 p.m.) and Saturday (3 and 8 p.m.) at Meymandi Concert Hall at the Progress Energy Center in Raleigh.
