COMMON GROUND THEATREKnown as one of Shakespeare’s greatest tragedies, Bare Theatre’s Rogue Company, made up of high school and college students, will take on the emotionally and physically arduous King Lear. After banishing his youngest daughter for failing in a contest of words declaring her love for him, King Lear delegates the kingdom to his two selfish eldest daughters. In the meantime, Britain’s ruling class becomes increasingly plagued by deception and betrayal that eventually leads to war and catastrophe.
