DEEP DISH THEATERNational Cancer Survivor’s Day started 20 years ago. Now, it bills itself as “the world’s largest and fastest-growing annual cancer survivor event.” Every year, Deep Dish Theater joins forces with Cornucopia House Cancer Support Center to celebrate this day of strength. In The Cancer Chronicles, professional actors of the Triangle present dramatic readings of stories, memoirs, poems and other forms of literature for anyone dealing with cancer, including several pieces written by local authors.
