THE GRATITUDE OF WASPS
UNIVERSITY MALLDeep Dish Theater unveils The Gratitude of Wasps, written by Durham native Adam Sobsey, who also writes literary reviews for the Indy (and theater reviews for the N&O). The production is the first premiere in the theater’s history and “a new kind of adventure” for artistic director Paul Frellick, who has worked with Sobsey before. The Gratitude of Wasps is a “fiercely funny and acutely observed drama” about three couples’ annual beach vacation and the tumultuous dynamics that make the trip anything but a vacation.
