RANDY WHITT
BLUE BAYOU CLUBIn solo mode, there’s room for Randy Whitt’s songs to reveal their layers. Musically, that means the touches of ’70s pop and soul are exposed. It’s a gifted songwriter, indeed, who paints a sunset as the funeral of the sun, and you need to hear what else he has to offer. The show starts at 8:30 p.m., or just as the sun is being laid to rest. Rick Cornell
