The guy’s been doing this for 30 years, so for folks in the Triangle, Ira David Wood III is Ebenezer Scrooge. The tradition, which each year features new twists and tweaks to the story, continues Dec. 8-15 as Raleigh’s Theater in the Park presents Dickens’ A Christmas Carol at Memorial Auditorium. To celebrate the 30th year of the show, there’s a new set of custom backdrops and costumes, and a host of former cast members are being invited back for a special reunion performance on Sunday, Dec. 12. Tickets range from $12-48 Monday-Thursday and $14-58 Friday-Sunday. For times, tickets and more information, visit www.theatreinthepark.com.
