Deep Gap, N.C. native Arthel “Doc” Watson is a national treasure, and he’s got a National Medal of Arts and seven Grammys–including a recent Lifetime Achievement Award–to prove it. This time around, Doc and his grandson, Richard Watson, along with David Holt are on a “Hills of Home” tour. They stop by to do some pickin’ at the Carolina Theatre on Friday, Aug. 27.
